The TJC is happy to welcome Rabbi Shefa Gold. As we transition from ordinary consciousness to Shabbat consciousness, we enter through 9 gates. We will chant, dance, journey, delve, imagine, remember and intend our way through The GateS of Song, Wonder, Freedom, Delight, Community, Unity, Intimacy, Peace and finally… The Gate of Celebration. And then we will know the Power of Shabbat. Potluck before the service. Vegetarian preferred, no pork and shellfish.
Rabbi Shefa Gold received her ordination from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College and from Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi. She composes and performs spiritual music, has produced ten albums.
